The Environmental Technology Center (ENTEC) works on many activities in the field of environmental technology. ENTEC works to provide scientific and technological services in environmental consultancy, postgraduate education and training, monitoring of environmental management plan and environmental quality, and monitoring of pollution sources. ENTEC's designated functions and tasks are to research and design waste pollution control systems and technologies for environmental protection; to research and apply new technologies, technical measures for labor protection, clean water supply and environmental sanitation; and to research the measures for environmental restoration and improvement; conservation of nature and biodiversities. Additionally, CENTEC works to provide scientific and technological services in environmental consultancy, postgraduate education and training; monitoring of environmental management plan and environmental quality; monitoring of pollution sources, including air emissions, waste waters, solid wastes and hazardous wastes.
