Environment Africa is a non-profit organization focused on responding to the needs of communities and environment in Southern Africa. The organization works with various sectors of society to protect and manage natural resources and to promote sustainable development. Environment Africa works as a community organizer and helps raise awareness to environmental issues while empowering people to protect and restore their environment. Environment Africa takes a holistic approach to environmental management and engages in cross cutting issues including poverty alleviation, gender equality, youth, social justice, and HIV/AIDS. The organizations work is focused on four key areas: sustainable livelihoods, climate change, environmental governance, and biodiversity.
