Instituto de Derecho y Economía Ambiental (IDEA) is a think tank which aims to formulate and promote policies for the implementation of a comprehensive sustainable development plan in Paraguay. IDEA creates their work through three main institutional programs: governance, environmental economics, and environmental law. Some of the activities that are carried out in these programs include organizing public hearings; training judges, prosecutors and governments officials on the implementation and enforcement of environmental legislation; and introducing and promoting innovative tools for the conservation of private land.
