"Dan Ngabirano is a Partner at Development Law Associates (DLA), a full service legal consultancy firm established in 2010. Dan holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from Makerere University and a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) from Harvard Law School. He is also qualified as an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and is in this respect a member of the Uganda Law Society, East African Law Society and the African Network of Constitutional Lawyers. Greenwatch is a non-governmental organization focused on environmental rights advocacy. Greenwatch promotes the enforcement of the Ugandans constitutional right to a clean and healthy environment. The organizations seeks to enhance public participation in the sustainable use, management, and protection of the environment and natural resources. Greenwatch works with the public and private sector to encourage public participation and ensure that policy makers have sufficient knowledge of environmental law to inform their decision making processes. Greenwatch has five program areas: enforcement of environmental law, human rights and governance, climate change, access rights, and biodiversity and natural resources. The organization provides training, consultation, strategic litigation, research, and advocacy services.
