Shibani Ghosh is a public interest lawyer specialising in environmental and access to information laws. She is associated with the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi where her broad area of research is domestic environmental law and regulation. She is a Sustainability Science Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School (2014-2015), and a Visiting Faculty at the TERI University, New Delhi and RICS School of Built Environment, Noida, where she teaches environmental law. She has been associated with the Legal Initiative for Forest and Environment (LIFE), an environmental law firm based in New Delhi. Previously she has worked as a legal consultant with the Central Information Commission, a quasi-judicial body set up under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
