Brainforest works for environmental protection and active public participation to ensure the equity of the economic benefits of sustainable resource management. Brainforest focuses on facilitating the participation of key stakeholders in the management of natural resources in Gabon. Brainforest also carries out participatory mapping activities and trains communities in mapping software. Their approach is to engage in both field work and policy advocacy on forestry and environmental issues.
