Our Impact
Before Rio+20, WRI presented strong arguments to delegates and helped draft language, which were incorporated into UNEP’s final decision to adopt an access-to-information policy. This may have wide-reaching effects that shape other international organisations policies. UNEP’s new policy will for the first time allow people from all over the world to request information on its work, plans policy and impact. TAI is continuing to advocate for strong implementation of the policy.
